From the aspects of intellectual terrorism used by the adversaries of Shaykh Muhammad bin Abd al-Wahhaab, his associates and his offspring are the claims and rumours that they shun the books of the historical scholars, shun the four schools of jurisprudence, declare taqlid to be unlawful, and claim independent ijtihaad for themselves. These were rumours used to muddy their reputation and standing after they began to call to the Tawhid of the Prophets, Messengers.
